If this sounds like you, Mack would like to speak to you about an opening for a finishing technician in the electromechanical area at its headquarters in the beautiful mountains of southern Vermont.
Mack is proud of its worldwide reputation as a reliable injection molder and contract manufacturer in a number of diverse markets, including medical, industrial, transportation, energy/environment, computer and business, and consumer products. In many cases Mack functions as its customers’ manufacturing arm, a responsibility that can be met thanks in large part to the Company’s finishing technicians. The finishing technician utilizes their expertise to maintain machinery, troubleshooting problems and performing regular cleanings of special equipment – ultimately helping achieve Mack’s mission of Total Customer Satisfaction. Additionally, he/she performs set-ups for testing equipment/stations, silk screening, pad printing, heat staking, milling, sonic welding, press brake, rivet machines and laser etching.
The objectives of this position are to optimize the quality, repeatability and efficiency of production, ultimately achieving the high level of product quality our customers demand. The ideal candidate will have previous finishing experience along with an associate’s degree or certificate from a two-year college or technical school. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may also be considered. Additionally, he/she should have the ability to quickly analyze, identify and efficiently correct equipment problems.
