Mack Molding, a leading custom plastics molder and contract manufacturing services supplier located right here in Vermont, is growing and currently looking to fill a toolmaker/machinist position at its Cavendish, Vt. Facility.

The toolmaker/machinist operates, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs all tool room equipment and machinery, including molds, tools, fixtures and hydraulic cylinders to maximize efficiency and quality of production. In addition this position is responsible for designing and building fixtures, driving cost reduction initiatives and maintaining inventories in order support various functions.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and an associate degree or certificate from a two-year college or technical school, particularly on focused on tools and dies. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. A successful candidate will be required to commit to the Vermont Tool and Die Apprenticeship Program and should have a working knowledge of electrical wiring.
