Mack has an opening for an accounts receivable specialist supporting the Company’s Southern Division – a problem solver with strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills – at the Company’s Headquarters in Arlington, Vt.
Responsibilities include obtaining and mailing invoice copies, and proofs of delivery for customers; checking daily shiplog pricing to price books; and researching and processing customer claims of invoice payment, charge backs and returns. Additionally the accounts receivable specialist conducts correspondence to customers and maintains credit limits in the financial system. He/she also will initiate and/or release credit holds in financial systems through collaboration with treasurer, as well as initiate and prepare credit memos by obtaining required documentation such as check copies and ATRs. Within this role, the accounts receivable specialist updates tooling spreadsheets monthly and ties it to the general ledger, as well as prepares credit accrual, defects per million and customer satisfaction reports for the quarterly P&L.
A successful candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school, plus 1-2 years of related experience and/or training. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Candidates must also have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external stakeholders, as well as the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure; compute rate, ratio, and percent; and to draw and interpret bar graphs. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, accounting software, Internet and manufacturing software.
