Mack Molding’s mission is nothing short of Total Customer Satisfaction, but without the efforts of the business development team there might not be a mission to deliver on. This field based team needs support, and is looking for a business development coordinator to be based out of the Company’s Inman, S.C., facility to support business development initiatives for the Company’s Southern Division.
The business development coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling needs of the business development team, as well as potential customers, and will support quoting activities by engaging with cross functional teams to review prints and organize the bill of materials (BOMs). Additionally, this role will support in the transition of new customers to the account management team, as well as assist in the development of presentations and case studies. He/she will track leads and opportunities in sales software applications; support market research and prospecting of new targets; and create standardized documents to support new business development initiatives.
The ideal candidate will drive and self-motivation along with a minimum of an associate’s degree, or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, plus six months to one year of related experience and/or training. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Communication is the key to success in the role, and the chosen candidate will be able to write reports, maintain correspondence with customers and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Additionally, knowledge of software tools, including word processing, spreadsheet, manufacturing and order processing systems will be required.
