As a contract manufacturer, Mack’s mission is Total Customer Satisfaction. This position plays a key role in meeting our customers’ high expectations by compiling and maintaining control of records and related files to support manufacturing and other departments. Responsibilities include entering and updating bill of materials, standard routings and item numbers, along with processing customer drawings and specifications into Mack’s control system. Additionally, the document control specialist is responsible for routing documents for approvals and submission, along with entering information related to Non-Conformities (N-Cs)/Corrective Action Prevention Plan (CAPA) activities. Within this role, the document control specialist generates and reviews periodic data reports from Agile and MAPICs. He/she also develops and maintains spreadsheets, as well as performs clerical duties such as filing, typing, copying, preparing requisitions and distributing controlled documents.
Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, plus one to two years of related experience or training. A two year certificate from a college or technical school is preferred. In addition to having knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, Microsoft Access, Agile, and MAPICS software, a successful candidate will be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
