As the manufacturing arm for our customers Mack has built a worldwide reputation as a reliable provider of plastic injection molding and contract manufacturing services. Mack’s Tool Room Technicians play a key role in securing the Company’s reputation by delivering on its mission of Total Customer Satisfaction, and Mack is looking for one to join the first shift team at its Headquarters in Arlington, Vt.
Responsibilities include operating and maintaining all tool room equipment and machinery, including troubleshooting and repairing molds, tools, fixtures and hydraulic cylinders to maximize efficiency and quality of production. This role also maintains required inventories to support department functions; helps drive cost reduction initiatives; and trains others based on their knowledge and skill.
The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree or certificate from a two-year college or technical school. Applicants should have a strong math skills and mechanical aptitude, including the ability to operate all machinist tools, equipment, and hand tools in the department safely. Successful candidates will have a working knowledge of basic electrical wiring.
