Mack is searching for a first shift manufacturing clerk to help drive the Company’s mission of Total Customer Satisfaction by maintaining data entry and information flow within the machining, engineering, and quality departments. The Mack team helps launch new products for some of the top fortune 500 companies, as well as cutting-edge technologies for start-up organizations. At the core of our business is manufacturing, and Mack this important role helps manage the flow of information through the team.
This includes assisting in the creation, maintenance and auditing of standard operating procedures, work instructions, bill of materials and routings. This position also gathers and analyzes information to identify and assist in resolution of problems; utilizes MRP system and assists with quarterly inventory as directed; and assists with quoting and requisition of supplies, tooling, and equipment. Additional responsibilities include generating engineering change orders in Mack’s document control system; maintaining and reporting departmental statistics and quality reporting; and coordinating and assisting in employee training, scheduling and tracking. The manufacturing clerk also performs various duties related to material handling and work on the manufacturing floor, including operating various assembly, production equipment and hand tools, as well as handles, assembles and inspects product and parts.
A successful candidate will have an associate degree from an accredited college or two years of related experience or training. The ideal candidate will have previous machining experience. Basic math, the ability to follow instructions and procedures and Microsoft Office suite skills, including Work, Excel and Outlook.
