Key members of that team include the Company’s material planners, who develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring we are meeting the needs of top fortune 500 companies, as well as leading edge start-up companies. In fact, Mack is looking for a material planner to join the Metals team at the Company’s Headquarters. Responsibilities include attending morning production meetings and reporting on schedule status; communicating production changes and ordering changes; acknowledging customer orders and maintaining lead times; and coordinating material flow and availability. Additionally, the material planner maintains order status in MAPICS, ensures purchased parts are available prior to production start and assists the material manager with quarterly inventory.
The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, plus six months to one year of related experience and/or training. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
