This is in no small part due to the leadership of the Company’s supervisors who guide our employees to success each day. Mack is currently looking for molding supervisor to provide departmental and facility oversight during the 12-hour night shift at its Inman, S.C., facility. Responsibilities include supervising day-to-day operations of the molding department, including completing normal daily production requirement; the start-up and processing for injection molding machines, robots and auxiliary equipment; establishing and assisting in maintaining accurate process sheets for all products; and generally reporting on shift activities such as production outputs, equipment issues, safety related incidents and personnel matters. The Molding Supervisor also works with tooling and maintenance personnel to debug and takes corrective actions on molds and processes; partners with engineering, scheduling and other plant personnel to achieve expected outputs; and trains personnel to handle the responsibilities and technical requirements of a molding operation.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, along with knowledge of injection molding and secondary processes. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Preference will be shown to candidates with prior supervisory experience. Successful candidates will have good communication, computer and math skills.
