As the manufacturing arm of our customers Mack is working on leading-edge technologies for some of the top Fortune 500 companies, as well as start-up organizations. It takes an efficient operation to deliver on Mack’s mission of Total Customer Satisfaction. That’s where our utility team members come in – helping to set up department work stations and production lines, as well as organizing movement of work-in-process and finished goods and materials, for maximum efficiency – and the Company has open positions on the first-shift molding team at its East Arlington plant.
Additionally utility team members operate equipment such as hand jacks and motorized fork lifts; manages corrugated stock and inventory; and brings packaging, corrugated and molded product and hardware to production lines, presses and other areas. This role also is responsible for strapping, banding and/or wrapping products for shipment; accurately and effectively tracking inventory; and maintaining accurate records of material usage and transfers from work-in-process to finished goods.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED along with previous similar experience. Successful candidates will have working knowledge of manufacturing and shipping environments, as well as material flow. The utility must have the ability to use computers, drive a fork truck and track inventory. He or she should have strong organizational skills, be able to handle flexible work schedules and be available for overtime as needed.
