The press maintenance – metals machine mechanic plays a critical role in helping Mack achieve its mission of Total Customer Satisfaction by performing repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery to maximize efficiency and quality of production; conducting preventative maintenance; and maintaining inventories necessary for supporting maintenance functions.
The ideal candidate will have a 1-year certificate from college or technical school, or 6-12 months related experience and training. Successful candidates will have the ability to work in a safe, efficient, and many times independent manner, as well as basic electrical, plumbing and hydraulic knowledge and skills. Specifically, a working knowledge of hand tools, injection molding machines, press brakes, punch presses, measuring tools and auxiliary equipment, will be required.
