As the manufacturing arm for our customers, Mack has built a worldwide reputation as a reliable provider of plastic injection molding and contract manufacturing services. In many ways, our quality team holds our license to play in the field, ensuring our work not only meets the high demands of our customers, but also the patients who rely on them. As a quality engineer for complaint investigations you will provide complaint analysis and reporting services related to customer returned goods. Responsibilities include analyzing performance failures of electrical or mechanical components returned from the field, preparing analysis reports for customers or kit/instrument manufacturers and managing the disposal of potentially bio-hazardous material. He/she also maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the labs in which work is performed, maintains lab tools and test equipment and creates requisitions to purchase tools and test equipment as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in an engineering or STEM field along with one to three years of experience in design, quality or a manufacturing environment. Preference will be shown to candidates with medical device experience. Along with a keen focus on quality, candidates also will have strong analytical and problem solving skills, along with the ability to be a team player with excellent project management skills and a penchant for good customer service.
