If this sounds like you, Mack would like to speak to you about joining the team as a third-shift molding technician at the Company’s headquarters in the beautiful mountains of Vermont.
As the manufacturing arm for our customers, Mack has built a worldwide reputation as a reliable provider of plastic injection molding services and contract manufacturer in a number of diverse markets, including medical, industrial, transportation, energy/environment, computer and business, and consumer products. Many would say the shift technician is where rubber meets the road in molding. The objectives of this position are to optimize the repeatability and efficiency of production, ultimately achieving the high level of product quality our customers demand, ultimately playing a key role in achieving our mission of Total Customer Satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include:
- Performing set-ups of silk screening, pad printing, heat staking, milling, sonic welding, press brake, rivet machines, etc
- Verifying calibrated torque on guns with work instructions
- Performing initial start ups of job for samples and production
- Troubleshooting equipment and machinery for production
- Driving cost reduction initiatives
- Following ISO procedures and completing departmental daily set-ups and logs
The ideal candidate will have a certificate from a college or technical school, along with previous molding/manufacturing experience.
