Mack Prototype President Greg Cebular is bringing his nearly 20 years of custom and additive manufacturing experience on the road as he heads to Charlotte, N.C., for Plastics Technology’s Molding 2022 Event.
Cebular will be addressing the conference from 5-5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 9. His presentation, titled, “Additive Manufacturing’s Place in Today’s Molding Operations,” will show attendees that additive manufacturing and classic plastic injection molding are not mutually exclusive in a modern manufacturing environment . In fact, that is why Mack Prototype – a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mack Molding Co. – has made significant investments in 3D printing technologies to support customers’ prototyping, bridge production and low volume production needs. During the talk, Cebular will illustrate how additive manufacturing is allowing engineers to gain visibility into the production process earlier, improving DFM, allowing production parts to be created during the tool build and balancing production needs with unclear forecast volumes common with early programs.
Taking place Nov. 8-10, 2022, at the Charlotte, Convention Center, Molding 2022 delivers an educational conference and exhibition where industry leaders meet to discuss the newest developments in molding processes, equipment, materials and management techniques. Known for its emphasis on adding value to injection molding businesses, the conference is regarded as the most important forum for accessing technical information and current business conditions in the industry.
This year’s event is colocated with the Molding Making Conference, meaning attendees at this premier educational opportunity will be able to network with even more peers, experts and technology solution providers focusing on the hottest topics in injection molding.
