Eight employees from all three of Mack’s Vermont manufacturing facilities participated in a two-part training program in systematic molding this spring, including Tom Revane, tool design engineer; Scott Rishell, design engineer; Mike Baker, process technician; Chris Phelps, manufacturing supervisor; Andreo Delnevo, molding shift technician; Leon Hamilton, molding shift technician; Tim Burdo, process technician; and Rick DeMoss, process validation engineer.
Presented by RJG, a leader in injection molding training, technology and resources, the course was broken into two three-day sessions in both the classroom and on the molding room floor. Focused on developing a machine-independent process, students learned how to make data-driven improvements to existing processes, and to use scientific and systematic approaches to trouble-shooting.
