It is with deep sadness that we announce the untimely death of Larry Walck, director, business development, Mack Molding. Just 45 years old, he passed away early Saturday morning, January 11, following a tragic sledding accident at Stratton Mountain Resort, Stratton, Vt.
“Larry was a wonderful friend and a tremendous co-worker to all of us at Mack,” says Jeff Somple, president, Mack Molding Northern Operations. “He was a driving force behind our growth over the years and will be sorely missed. Our condolences go out to his lovely wife, Jennifer, and his children, Christian and Justina. On a personal level, Larry was a close friend. On a business level, Mack has lost one of its best. Please join us in keeping Larry and his family in your thoughts and prayers.”
An avid hockey fan and player, Larry was in Vermont over the weekend to participate in a men’s hockey tournament. He played regularly with a men’s league in New Jersey. Larry also volunteered much of his time to youth sports, coaching baseball for the Delaware Valley Athletic Association and serving as a board member for the Delaware Valley Junior Lacrosse program. Larry was a member of the Alexandria Township Parks and Recreation Committee and the Knights of Columbus.
Larry joined Mack in 2000 as new business development manager, and was promoted to director in 2006. Earlier, he was national sales & marketing manager for Polycel Structural Foam Plastics, Inc., Somerville, N.J. Larry was a graduate of Raritan Valley College, Somerset, N.J., and had completed graduate coursework in marketing/business administration.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Rebinski Walck; a son, Christian, and a daughter, Justina, both at home; his mother, Theresa Crea Walck; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 17, at 10 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Old Allerton Road, Annandale, N.J. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm from Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, N.J.
I am truly saddened to hear this news. Larry was not only a business associate but a really good friend. I wish his family much strength in this time of sorrow.
I’ll miss you Larry.
