ARLINGTON, Vt. – Mack Molding has beefed up its product design and development services with the addition of two veteran engineers, Randy Pell and Craig Pine.
Previously with Mack for eight years, Pell has rejoined the company after a brief stint as engineering manager at Hy-Ten Plastics, Inc., Milford, N.H. He has returned to the Application Development Center as senior staff engineer, where he will focus primarily on the design and development of medical instruments.
Before Mack, Pell owned and operated Pell Design, a plastic part and mold design company, for 10 years. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Broome Community College, Binghamton, N.Y., a part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system.
Craig Pine joins Mack as a program engineer from NSK Steering Systems America, Inc., Bennington, Vt., where he was a project leader responsible for managing cross-functional program launch teams from award of business through production start-up. Earlier, he was a quality assurance engineer for the company.
Prior to NSK, Pine was a materials/project engineer for ROCKSHOX, Inc., a San Jose, Calif., mountain bike manufacturer. Before that, he held a variety of engineering positions over the course of nine years with Delphi Engine and Energy Management, General Motors Corp., Rochester, N.Y., where he was also a General Motors Scholar.
Pine holds a bachelor’s degree in materials engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, N.Y., and a master’s in manufacturing management from GMI Engineering & Management Institute, Rochester, N.Y.
