INMAN, S.C. (Feb. 6, 2025) – Mack Molding is pleased to announce several key leadership promotions and new hires within its Southern Division, reinforcing its commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and growth.
“These appointments reflect our commitment to developing and recognizing top talent while ensuring we remain well-positioned for future success,” said Mack Southern Division President Bryan Campbell. “This is a mix of promotions that highlight the depth of talent and leadership within our team, coupled with new team members who bring fresh perspectives. With their proven leadership and expertise, we are well-equipped to continue driving business growth, strengthening customer relationships, and optimizing operations.”
Joe Allen has been promoted to Director of Sales and Engineering for the Southern Division, succeeding Steve Butler, who has retired after more than 35 years of service. Allen has been with the Company for over two decades and began his Mack career as a high school intern in 1996. He has since advanced through key roles, including Senior Account Manager, Account Manager, Program Manager, Materials Manager, and Purchasing Manager. Allen’s extensive experience in customer relations and strategic initiatives make him an ideal leader for the role. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Spartanburg Community College and a BA in Business Administration from Gardner-Webb University. Allen is based in Mack’s Inman, S.C., facility.
To further strengthen the Sales and Engineering team, Shannon Hildebran and Bill Pcheny have been promoted to Business Unit Directors, and Angela “AJ” McKinley has been hired as a Program Manager.
Hildebran has over 10 years of experience at Mack, excelling in roles such as Account Manager and New Business Development Manager. He has a strong background in customer relationship management, business development, and plastics sales. Hildebran has a deep familiarity with resins, having gained significant plastics and sales experience as a sales engineer with Omni Plastics in Evansville, Ind., Mid-Atlantic sales representative for Polymer Resources LTD in Stamford, Conn., and as an inside sales/customer service rep for GE Plastics. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Hildebran is based in the Statesville, N.C., plant.
Pcheny has served and built leadership experience as an Account Manager and New Business Development Manager in his 24 years with Mack, developing expertise in customer partnerships and innovative solutions. Prior to Mack, Pcheny was Sales & Engineering Manager at Unimark Plastics in Greer, S.C. He also honed his customer relations and injection molding experience as an Account Manager with InteSys Technologies Incorporated. Pcheny holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Villanova University and an MBA from Clemson University, equipping him with the technical expertise and strategic acumen to drive strategic growth. Pcheny is based in Inman.
McKinley, the Mack South Sales & Engineering Team’s new Program Manager, is responsible for account management of both existing and new customers, including planning, product realization, transition programs into production and relationship development. She previously worked at Poeppelmann Plastics in Claremont, N.C., as a Program Manager, bringing expertise in project management, operations support, PPAP, ISO 9001 audits, corrective actions, process improvements, and budget management. She holds an Associate of Arts degree from Caldwell Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree from Appalachian State University. McKinley is based in Statesville.

Their combined experience in fostering strong customer relationships, driving new business opportunities, and leading strategic initiatives will be instrumental in strengthening our operations. On the operations side of the business, Eric Ritz has been promoted to Director of Equipment & Automation for Mack’s Southern Division. Ritz, who began his career at Mack in 2008, previously served as Plant Manager at Mack’s Inman facility. Within that role he was responsible for directing production, distribution and plant operations. Prior to Mack, Ritz built his experience in injection molding and electronics in maintenance technician roles with Innertech and Tyco Electronics. In his new role, he will leverage his engineering expertise and deep operational knowledge to drive sustainability, efficiency, and automation across the division. Ritz is based in Inman.
Ryan Stacker succeeds Ritz as Inman Plant Manager. Stacker brings over 20 years of experience in manufacturing operations and engineering, specializing in safety, employee engagement, project management, and customer satisfaction. Most recently, he was Plant Manager for Auria Solutions in Old Fort, N.C. His previous roles included Launch Manager and Business Unit Manager at Lear Corporation and Vice President of Operations at Parkway Products, LLC. Stacker has a bachelor of science in industrial management/industrial engineering from Purdue and an MBA from Mississippi State University. His expertise in large-part injection molding, agriculture, off-road vehicles, and industrial applications makes him a great fit for the Inman facility.
“Eric’s deep operational knowledge and engineering expertise make him the perfect fit to drive automation and sustainability across our Southern Division,” Campbell noted. “At the same time, we’re excited to welcome Ryan, whose extensive leadership experience in manufacturing and injection molding will be invaluable in strengthening our Inman facility and supporting our continued growth.”
Rounding out recent promotions, Alex Tucker has been appointed Quality Engineer for Inman. Tucker originally joined Mack in the quality department, bringing a strong background in biology, chemistry, and quality assurance. He holds a bachelor of science from St. Augustine University, where he majored in biology with a minor in chemistry. Tucker also attended Piedmont Technical College, earning certifications as a Certified Quality Auditor, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and Health and Safety Auditor. His prior experience includes quality assurance roles at Lonza and Capsugel, along with leadership experience as Membership Director/ General Manager at the Commerce Club in Greenville, S.C.
