Reports To: Facilities Manager
Essential Functions:
- Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, Welding, Design, Fabrication, Mechanical and Carpentry;
- Maintains facility buildings, systems, equipment, and tools;
- Conducts building construction projects;
- Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine specifications and work procedures. Determines dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements;
- Trouble shooting & Root Cause Analysis;
- Ensures that assigned work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards;
- Operates a motorized lift truck for the purposes of safely and properly moving, handling, and storing of materials;
- Complies with all company policies and procedures;
- Meets minimum physical/mental demands with or without reasonable accommodation;
- Team player with strong work ethic;
- Maintains good attendance, flexibility in job assignment, adaptable to changing; business needs, and continually learns and applies new skills;
- Trains others on knowledge and skills mastered;
- Handles materials in accordance with ISO quality standards;
- Professionally meets internal customer service needs;

General Duties / Responsibilities / Mental Demands
Operate Equipment: Ability to operate hand and motorized forklift devices, man-lifts, metering instruments, hand, and power tools.
Administrative: See, read, and follow departmental procedures in accordance with specific documentation and ISO procedures; maintain and complete general forms, reports, and machinery logs; conduct routine inspections.
Quality: Paperwork accuracy; follow work instructions; recognize machinery problems and address; perform various quality inspections; use of measuring devices; preventative maintenance and root cause repairs.
Productivity: Meet established performance standards; drive problem solving through root cause analysis, complete preventive maintenance work orders and maintain updated status on preventative maintenance program; prioritize tasks based on business needs; focus on continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives. Able to handle multiple tasks/responsibilities.
Health/Safety: Follow safety rules, guidelines, and training given; cleanliness of workstation/housekeeping; maintain good personal hygiene; wear all required and appropriate PPE; recognize hazards and report and/or fix; participate in safety initiatives; report all accidents/injuries/near misses immediately to designated individual; practice safe work habits.
Teamwork/Flexibility: Available for OT; interact with co-workers professionally; contribute to a positive work environment; adapt to job/business demands; learn and apply new skills; support co-workers and company initiatives; able to train other employees on knowledge and skills mastered.
Set Up: Set-up of plant compressor system, boiler system, oven system, and various other facility dependent systems.

Pre-Requisites/Minimum Qualifications:
One-year certificate from college or technical school or three years related experience and / or training; good mechanical aptitude necessary; ability to work in a safe, efficient, and many times independent manner required; mechanical, fabrication, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, electrical, and welding skills required.
